We are all unique and have different experiences and cultures.  But together, we share this beautiful land and form the proud identity of Canada.  Listen to the read aloud “I Am Canada: A Celebration” by Heather Patterson.

On Monday, May 18, we have a holiday called Victoria Day.  Do you know who Victoria is?  Or why we have a holiday for Victoria?  Do a little inquiry into why we celebrate this May holiday.  If you celebrate another May holiday, look into the reason why it is special.
